Still Life | 18" x 24" | Acrylic | I made this piece at the beginning of my junior year. This piece puts significance on the 'little things' as I used a lot of detail to create the white hibiscus in the little golden box. I chose the little music box and the flower to be introduced in my still life painting because they both have a tremendous amount of detail and texture. In the final product, I like the variety of colors that I used to make shadows, highlights, and other tones.
