Abstract Self-Portrait | 18" x 24" | collage | My Abstract Self-Portrait is influenced by the Egyptian art. I used a lot of different colors, shapes, and patterns to show how I express myself through my art. I used several textures from images for my hair, textures and patterns for my clothes, and yellow tissue paper to dull the background and make the actual portrait stand out. The background cut outs that are dulled my the yellow paper create a frame around the focal point in the middle.
